Jeanice is a Wagyl Kaip Traditional Owner and was appointed by her community to represent the Wagyl Kaip Ward on the SWALSC Board in 2015. Jeanice is committed to establishing and maintaining effective governance having served on boards at the local, regional and state level. As a community member, Jeanice has a strong understanding of the needs, aspirations and struggles of the Noongar community, and in her various roles works tirelessly to promote and progress new opportunities for a brighter future for the Noongar community.

Wayne is a proud Aboriginal man with family connections to the South West, Pilbara, Goldfields and Kimberly regions of Western Australia. Wayne has over ten years’ experience in the construction industry having worked as a building contractor before deciding to study law. After completing a Bachelor of Law Degree in 2009 at Murdoch University in WA, Wayne completed his legal training at the Aboriginal Legal Service WA and was admitted to practice in 2010. Wayne joined SWALSC in 2013 as the Deputy CEO, before being appointed as the CEO in 2016.
Wayne is committed to transitioning SWALSC to the CSC under the South West Native Title Settlement to continue assisting the Noongar community in harnessing the benefits of the Settlement, while at the same time working with the SWALSC Board to progress key strategic focus areas and initiatives.
